These are things that happened the year Stanley and I were born. I read Ellee's blog about stuff that happened the year she was born and it was very interesting. So I started looking up stuff from the year we were born and here's what I found. Hope you enjoy!

The US Army sold its last homing pigeons - they used them to carry messages quickly between posts - the first text messages if you will!
The USSR (Russia) started the space race with the launch of Sputnik 1 and 2

kinda jealous of all the cool things that were going on back then! i wish i could experience a day in the good ol' days!! but...as to your question with my face. clint was just checkin if you could see faces at the angle he was taking the picture at...make sense? hahaa. that is my hurry up face! haha
